Nature reserve mowers

These lovely sheep are brought into my local nature reserve every year to 'mow' the meadow and they do a grand job. I think I was lucky to see them today as it will soon be time for them to move on to pastures new for the summer. 
I had a lovely 5K walk round the reserve this afternoon with my friend Josie, it was really warm and pleasant in the sunshine and it felt sooo good.
On the way round we saw my first two butterflies of 2022, a Peacock and this poser of a Comma (see extras).
