Therapy (Day 2510)

After a trip to town to collect some stuff, I headed across to Evie to get on with the bathroom fit. The plan for the day was to get the wet wall on around the shower. The first sheet went on fine. The second sheet, not so well. I needed to use a trimming from it to finish off one wall, with the main part of the sheet going on the short end of the shower tray. A distraction meant I cut the sheet wrong, and while I was able to rescue enough to cover the wall at the end of the tray, there wasn't enough left to finish off the long side. I will need to wait for a new sheet of wet wall to arrive, and in the meantime use an offcut I saved from another job.
By lunchtime I was in a fairly black and self critical mood, so there was no point in me staying and doing any more on the bathroom. I headed home, and after lunch  my beautiful wife took me to Stromness and we got out a ride on Red and George. Exactly what I needed, and after a month without riding, it was really grand to be back on George again. He seemed pleased to be out too, stopping a couple of times so he could have a look at stuff that had caught his attention.
On the way back home HV and I popped in to see Mum and Dad who have been away south.
