What’s going on here?

In the 15 odd years we’ve kept chickens, I’ve never seen one of them lay an egg as small as that one ! It’s perfectly formed and the shell is firm so ??

A full Sunday doing TH Max (Sunday school) this morning (which was fun); we had one guest over for lunch and then the evening service and then the day was kind of done.
