Through the trees…..

There was a gloriously coloured sky before dawn this morning. It was very dark and my headlight was essential to light the rough paths on the true left banks of the river. Maisie will need to wear her illuminated dog collar during these dark mornings. There have been some dramatic weather events in some parts of the country. Torrential rain and surface flooding in Auckland and other northern areas. We had rain here in Blenheim. Not a lot but more is predicted for tomorrow and Wednesday. A very kind person left a big bag of feijoas and ripe figs in our porch this afternoon. Yummy. I am now trying to figure out who left them for us.
