He must sit for hours on this street corner in all weathers to make a living for his family. However he was chatting cheerfully away to the young boy all the while concentrating on mending someone's shoe for which he would be paid a pittance. How people survive on so little in India is a miracle to me and an extremely hard life for them. My heartfelt admiration goes out to people like this man, he has great dignity in his face and dexterity in his hands. I can only wish him well.
