Liverworts

I was up and out in good time for me this morning but by the time I drove by Granny Dowbekin’s in Pooley Bridge, shortly after 10, there was already a long queue outside. Streuth.
I carried on and went to check out the daffs at Glencoyne (they will be well over by April 15th) and to see if the liverwort spores were out. They were ...
What a joy ... always a highlight of the year.
When I saw them I had Youssou N’dour in my head ... it was as if they were all standing (and falling) united ... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bgFWsF1nsXE

I pottered around for a while and then sat sheltered from the wind in the warm sun having my thermos of coffee before it all got too busy and I headed off to get some compost and a bit of shopping before heading home.

2nd extra - with thanks to ceridwen for helping me to be more observant
