Silly Saturday ...

With today's weather being nicer than tomorrow is supposed to be we headed out to Jacobsburg State park again.  No picnic supper this time around!

Last year at this time we had such an awesome day at Jacobsburg watching the wood frogs gathering at one of the vernal pools.  It was a year ago tomorrow that we were there so we were hoping that today would be another magical day.  But it wasn't meant to be this year.  We were either early or too late as we only saw a small handful of frogs at this same vernal pool.  If the weather is nice enough next week and we have the time we may try again.  We had a nice walk nevertheless ... just under a mile and a half.

Before leaving the park we stopped back at another frog pond ... the same one from Wednesday.  That's where I photographed Richard photographing me!  Aren't we silly!
