Spring equinox

Astronomical spring started in warm temperature: this year's new record was measured and it was +10°C warmer than usually in March. We did trip to Hämeenkyrö, and visited a birdwatch tower by Kirkkojärvi lake. There is a stream that melts part of the lake sooner. Swans gather there to wait smaller lakes and lakes in north to melt. Most of Kirkkojärvi still had ice cover, but in the melted area there was 30 Whooper Swans. These three were in Pappilanjoki stream, next to the restaurant Frantsila.

Leevi started bicycling season and visited us in the afternoon.
