the longest journey

I took the train from Adelaide to Alice Springs. Now this may not sound like anything special, but looking at the map it will show what a journey it is. It cuts through half of the Australian continent- through the rugged and landscape of the outback. I witnessed the most stunning sunset and had great chats with Aboriginals travelling back to be with their family. As I was backpacking I could only afford a recliner seat, but there were still plenty of facilities on board to make it comfortable. Time went fast considering the distance we covered...
