40 today! The start of a few days of celebrations. We went into Harrogate for a shop and then lunch, then out to Mowgli in the evening. James and the children even got me a chocolate orange cake!

Today seemed as good a day as any for a self portrait. A lot has happened in 40 years, and yet it seems to have gone so quickly. I have a lot to feel very thankful for. I don’t know if I will have another 40 years yet to live, and if I do, I don’t know what they might hold for me. Either way, I have had a very charmed 40 years so far with wonderful friends, family, experiences, fun, laughs, and most of all, my two amazing children and husband.
