Beer in the Sun!

This morning was again an icy cold wind so I did some housework.
After lunch it warmed up a bit so Frank did some bits and pieces out in the garden, fixing the bench and putting another trellis up for the Clematis I bought.
When he finished he brought out a jug of his home-brew and we had a couple of beers out there, it was so lovely sitting in the sun, trying to decide  what to do with the far right hand corner.

Marc let me know about a film he is watching and thought we might enjoy too, so we’re going to watch it now - Garnett’s Gold.

Another Beer Dear?

After a chilly start this morning
the east wind finally dropped
after lunch, we sat out on the bench
drinking beer and swapped 
ideas on how to use the corner
where the greenhouse once stood
before it blew away in a storm
it was cheap and not very good.
We pondered all the options
sitting there in the sun
talked our way - with more beer
right back to where we’d begun
So now we’re no further forward
And that corner will still be empty
but we’ve time enough to discuss it
And beer we have a plenty!
