New Neighbours ....
or should I say neigh - bours? This family has moved into the field at the top of the hill. They are a little shy at the moment.
I don't know anything about horses - I guess these are some kind of ponies? This one has an awful lot of hair, interestingly styled.
Another lovely sunny day. I spent most of the morning pulling last years beech leaves out of the shrubs beside the workshop. And there are lots more still to drop off the hedge ...
In the afternoon, a walk by the Teviot. At the far end of the Chesters stretch a great chunk of the far bank has slipped, bringing several large trees and a lot of soil down. The river has spread to fill the space and a new island seems to be forming. It'll be interesting to see how it settles.
We thought we deserved an ice-cream, but the shop had none. They don't sell it in March :-(
