Happy spring

We went to the mountains today for fresh air, nice walk (extra) and to buy some mountain cheese from local producers. Even if only at 1300m, the advancing of spring is far behind the Po Valley. The crocuses have just started to stick out their heads, the hills were yellow with primroses and I even saw a bumblebee enjoying some coltsfoot nectar -probably it was using antifreeze liquid in its veins, for the air was rather chilly!
Asked to pose for a first day of spring blip my daughter knew exactly how to express her excitement for the season of flowers, colours and fragrances.
