Solo

A was out with Django when I got up, so I went out on my own. After walking out to the Ramsay Obelisk (see extra) the hills were too tempting, so I hiked over to Silverburn. Thanks to the competition offered by a group of cyclists, I ran up the track and around to Eastside Farm. By then they were well behind, as one had had to stop to mend a puncture! I took the direct route up West Kip (left summit in photo) from where I spotted a tiny area of snow in a north-facing hollow. From there, I continued over East Kip, South Black Hill and Scald Law. Although I'd run more than usual, I still had the energy to run all the way down to the A702, before walking home.
