The Ringrider

Another blip from Middelburg, where this bronze statue of the 'Ringrider' can be found. I love its frozen action and marvel its sculptor who designed this solid statue (Gerard Brouwer, who died in 2017 of ALS).

Ringriding is a traditional sport in Zeeland, performed on their Zeeland Draft horses ~ these horses are classified as 'cold blooded' what means that their character is calm and their body heavily/strong shaped... they are loved for these skills. And surely I love this blip coz the light was so soft.
