An interesting pair

It was extremely windy today but we managed to get out for a walk, pick up the open home signs and pop in to have a drink with Mum.  She enjoys a G&T, but doesn’t like having a drink by herself, so is always pleased to have company.

Towards the end of our morning walk we took a shortcut through Mum’s retirement village where we saw today’s blip in the garden of one of the independent villas. The main blip is a close-up and the extra shows where the pair are situated in the garden.

There are 12,020 new community cases today, with 957 people in hospital, of whom 26 are in intensive care. Another nine deaths have been reported, which takes the seven-day rolling average to nine.
