Balance

Good day (despite my cold being in full flight now…although still negative LFT)….managed both to make progress on work (promotions cases again!) but also make something of the stunning weather. A had booked afternoon tea for us at the Botanic gardens as a congratulations treat for me, and after we’d eaten our way through the amazing stack of savoury and sweet delicacies we had a lovely wander around. She’d never been there before and really liked it, so it will be good to go back and watch the plants develop at different times through the year. She was keen to think about what they’d like to have in their garden once they eventually find somewhere to live.
A couple were having photos taken and enjoying the weather at their wedding in the gardens….how lucky to have chosen this weekend not last!
My flu drugs were starting to wear off and I was going downhill so we came home and I took some more and powered on through work whilst A took Paisley out for a walk, before spending the evening doing the ironing whilst we watched Bohemian Rhapsody film. A had done huge amounts of cleaning all day whilst I’d been working, so between us we’ve achieved a lot.
