Golden

This is another plant blip from a neighbour's garden. Its common name is Golden Penda. Golden is obvious, but I have no idea what Penda refers to. Botanically is is Xanthostemon chrysanthus, a member of the Myrtaceae family, along with the eucalypts and bottle brushes. It is endemic to the rainforests of North Queensland, more than 1000 km away.
