Purple patch

The sun came out today and so did the crocuses. Very spring like.
Elsewhere Putin sprung into action at the Luzhniki stadium hosting a rally to celebrate the annexation of Crimea eight years ago and, of course, those brave Russian lads taking a bullet for their comrades during that  "special military action" in Ukraine.

Not sure the lads are quite as enthusiastic about that as he is suggesting...
