The Principality of Pontinha

That’s the rocky fort on the left, apparently an independent principality ruled by Prince Renato, who bought the Forte Sao Jose from the Blandy family in 2000. On the right you can see the new Savoy Palace Hotel.
We walked down to the Design Centre which sits above the harbour for our coffee this morning, then into town and eventually stopped for lunch and some ‘snow love’ tea at the Loja do Cha (another of our favourite spots).  Then back to our timeshare for a swim.  Spotted the crabs (extra) on the rocks near the sea bathing pool - much too chilly for me to swim in the sea! Added another extra of the moon on the water
