End of an Era and a Semblance of Normality

After a two-year hiatus, the local music festival took place in the concert hall.
A bittersweet experience - child number three played cello for the final time in the orchestra.
Ten years of my children playing here year after year, concert after concert. Often two out of the three, occasionally all three, this time just my beautiful daughter.
So glad to see masks being worn without exception, even by the young musicians on stage.
So lovely to hear live music again.
And they won!
Out on a high.
