Spa day

I treated the daughters to a day at a local spa. None of us had been there before and it’s been so long since we went to such places I couldn’t remember the protocol.

It was in a lovely location in the country. We had the use of a private garden room where we had lunch. The pool and other facilities were to be shared with holiday cottages on the complex but it was a sunny day so all the residents were out. We really enjoyed having the luxury of the place to ourselves, the luxury of our massages and facials and having the chance to catch up minus children (and the men). It was so warm and sheltered we sat out in the garden.

she thought I looked like a model!
