One for sorrow, two for joy

It's Himself's birthday - skypes have been enjoyed with Takaka, Altrincham and another is due with Bristol later. I'm not sure we shall get to the Stonehenge exhibition in the BM (but you never know) so just in case, I treated him to the exhibition book The World of Stonehenge. It's a mighty tome, lavishly illustrated which we shall both enjoy!! He also got a whetstone thingy for sharpening chisels and a road atlas, we realised that the one we have is about 20 years out of date!
I had to nip into Skibbereen, so we had a wander around the market and then had lunch out. He's now transfixed to the rugby and may well need a lie down later, three matches in one day!  Scotland v Ireland on the go - it's tense!

Magpies We were fortunate to see the unthanks performing this at the Stromness Folk Festival quite a few years a go now, spine tingling.
