Nesting

Yellow-throated Vireo gathering palm fibers for her nest building project. In the *extra...male Pileated Woodpecker at the BarkButter feeders. First humming bird of the season spotted! This tiny male Ruby-throated has been enjoying having the feeder and bottlebrush flowers all to himself. Males are the first to arrive so I've named this little guy, 'Scout'. Swallow-tailed kite flying over the back yard, has a broken tail feather. It will just eventually drop off and be replaced by a fresh one. No harm, no foul!
