The Ford…..

This view is looking west over the shallow ford that links the big slow-moving pond water to the rest of the Taylor River to the right.. I have often photographed this scene from the other side of the water, usually before dawn.
Margaret and I walked into town late morning. We had coffee at a favourite cafe, “Ritual”. The decor is very “retro” and the food is excellent. Margaret flew back to Wellington this afternoon. We miss her company already.
