Spent the afternoon at the hospice with Lou.
She saw her consultant with scan results today. The tumour has grown and has caused a bottleneck in her bowel which is  causing other issues. He has discontinued her hormone treatment and immunotherapy as they aren't working.
They have however managed to find a better balance of pain control vs over sedation.
In the event that she finds her way through the current complications they will consider more chemo
She is as dignified and resilient as ever. I am so proud of her. And Simon continues to dig into his reserves and provide constant, beautiful support.
