Helmsley Sunshine

Decided on a trip to Helmsley Castle to make the most of a lovely day. 

It is amazing what a bit of sunshine can do. The main is what remains of the main tower. The rest of it lies in the moat having blown up in the Civil War. The deep moat is a real feature of the castle which you do not appreciate from outside the site.
