Love A Duck

I’ve received some more eggs from the farm in Cornwall. I’m going to incubate these at home just in case the ones at school don’t hatch. I might have to do a moonlight switchover if things don’t work out.
Poppy’s friend’s mum has hatched everything from quails to turkeys and brought over a small incubator and brooder for me. What an adventure!
Poppy has gone off to a murder mystery party and Alf is at his girlfriends for the weekend so D and I are home alone. We are trying to remember the last time this happened and can’t, it’s been that long. We are celebrating with a ready meal and a film. Rock and roll!!
