Jamie

Our village Sicilian cafe is lovely. The owner, Val, is a feisty, sweary, efficient Italian pocket rocket. Her husband Jamie is a laid back, chatty, amusing Brit who can either make coffee or chat - not both. So we have to add at least 20 minutes onto a morning dog walk if we fancy a coffee and Jamie is serving. It's always a lovely start to the day - and the coffee is incredible.

I like Thursdays. I don't work in the morning so I catch up on bits and bobs and enjoy a long stroll with pooch. I see two clients in the afternoon at home - both teenage girls, both delightful, and both really committed to counselling. One is autistic and we're learning a lot from each other.
