Sahara Sunset

It has rained the whole day, and remained quite heavy throughout. I was bereft of a decent photo until the evening when fortunately I spotted this sunset.

I have read there were sands blown across Europe from the Sahara. Whether or not these sands contributed anything to the sunset I have no idea. Possibly we are too far north for the sand to have reached here.

When I took the picture I could see the camera was recording the sky with far too much yellow, whereas in reality the sky was pink rather than yellow. I think the processing has restored the sky to something like I remember seeing it.
