Chalk and Cheese
Less than 24 hours ago I was in a city with 10.5 million people. Today I'm back home in Auckland to a city with 1 million.
This is PT Chevalier beach in the heart of Auckland. You can see it's a beautiful day, 20 degrees, no wind and the beach has a couple of people on it. PT and I wandered along the beach for some exercise and to wear off the jet lag.
Makes a difference from being rugged up in the Seoul city streets dodging the odd snowflake.
The metallic high rise structures of Seoul have been replaced with a metallic hand rail to help you rise from the sandy beach to the pathway a few feet above.
