Sunny moments

At 7am the garden was frosty and the sun shone - I enthusiastically put out some washing, went to make some nice coffee , snd when my back was turned it started to pelt with rain ! So I took the washing back in :)
It has rained most of the day until late afternoon.
My friend P and I went to Garelochead and walked briskly along the shore path ,struggling against the wind and the rain , before going to The Perch for coffee.
I have known P since we were girls at school and then we were neighbours in Peninver when we both had our babies . The salty seaweedy scent , strong winds and rain brought back memories of our young selves in Kintyre.
Much water under many bridges since then.
She is moving away to Jersey soon - and I will miss her.
