Making Scones

I haven't baked in the longest time so I made the most of the bank holiday and tried Donal Skehan's recipe for Traditional Irish Scones.

Almost an unmitigated disaster...... I realised when I was almost at the stage of adding the liquid to a mixture containing cream flour instead of self raising, did I feel like a wally?
Yes!

A quick Google search and I added 4 teaspoons of baking powder to the mixture, phew!
