With a spring walk through an old plaque hospital area.

Tampere Epidemic Hospital operated in the Kaakinmaa district from 1897 to 1959. The hospital then operated under the name of Pyynikki Hospital until 1985, when its functions were transferred to Hatanpää Hospital. The hospital was intended to treat and isolate people with communicable diseases to prevent the spread of disease.
Today, the area has the workspaces of block artist Mika Pettissalo and visual artist Katri Kempas, as well as the premises of Pirkanmaa Music College. In the summer of 2020, Pettissalo developed a courtyard for the entire village in connection with the block, where people have been able to come and play and make art freely.
