A variety of Bell Heather

E and I went to Calders this afternoon to use an afternoon tea voucher for two that was a birthday present last May.

We walked through the garden centre to get to the cafe. Beautiful planters full of colourful primulas .... I have no success with those flowers so I wasn't tempted to buy any.

A great display of heathers and although I took the picture of the salmon pink flowers just before we entered the cafe I forgot to photograph the label bearing the plant's name.

A day of sunshine and heavy showers ..... fortunately I was either in the supermarket or the cafe when the rain was at its worst.
