Yesterday the weather forecast for today was for sun.

During the night the moon was shining bright. When I put the recycling boxes out at 8 o’clock the cars were covered with frost. I left home at 9.30 and it wasn’t long before I felt a few spots of rain. I headed for Stock Ghyll. The rain got much heavier while I was in the woods.

I’d planned to photograph daffodils but they’re all still in bud. Instead here are the railings around the waterfall.

More railings in extras. The gardening I’d planned for the afternoon has been postponed.
