Start like you mean to go on.

Well, this is what I saw when I looked out my window this morning. A miserable, wet, grey day.
And the day didn't get any better weather wise or otherwise......

I heard that my father's cousin lost her battle with cancer today and then I found out that my flatmate (the one that had pneumonia the other week) has just been diagnosed with leukaemia. So, yeah, what a day, eh?!

The Race For Life ad really sums it up for me today, especially when a man in it says " Up yours, Cancer."
Funnily enough, I actually sponsored one of my colleagues for it today!

It's going to be hard telling the people at work about my flatmate, over the coming weeks, as he is also one of our governors at the prison. :-/
