Blossom

The first few flowers have appeared on the little Fuji cherry tree in the 'yard. Don't be fooled by the Blip - it rained here for most of the day!

A trip in to Berwick this morning. To the timber merchant and DIY shop for the last few pieces of wood required to finish off the woodwork in the hall. Took the opportunity to buy some orchid compost in hope of reviving an ailing plant that's almost certainly suffering from overwatering. Finally to the wonderful Green Shop for some essentials.

Whilst in Berwick we also filled the fuel tank in the van at one of the supermarkets, where diesel is 166.9p/l today, 6p/l cheaper than in Wooler!

Home for a late lunch before assembling the new bathroom cabinet that arrived on Monday. Quite complicated and time-consuming, but at least the pictorial instructions were very clear. Later, MrM put it on the wall, and it didn't take long to fill it up. Looks so much better than the old one, which was beginning to fall apart.
