Exploring

Today was forecast for cloud - and it came, right down over the mountains. This gave the opportunity for a lie in and late breakfast.
We had a little explore of the walking routes round the village. There are plenty of paths which when the village is in snow would be snow shoe routes. Others higher up the mountain are still snowy so we can explore later - and may be get to snow show.
I took a route up from our chalet which was so steep I was gasping for air (I blame the altitude). But eventually I found the tour round and back down to our little local path and met Chalet Pal W - in this picture, back from stocking up on essential supplies of tonic.
