Come out and play with me!

All winter the pontoon used for the passenger ferry during the summer months is moored in the bay outside our house. Today it was towed away as the tourist season starts in earnest at the beginning of May. I've blipped it in years gone by, but I stood there, taking loads of photos, snapping away like the conscientious blipper I am, while Ollie and Scratch snuffled around on the shore.
Before long Ollie was in the sea. He just can't resist it, he's in at least once every day, sometimes just for a paddle and a wade about, and sometimes he lies down, dunks his head under and has a proper splash. Scratch isn't quite so keen. She stood on the slip and couldn't seem to understand the attraction at all!
Late blip tonight as we've been out ceilidh dancing in the school hall. Only six couples, but we had a great time. It's what village life is all about!
