After the rain...

Today it rained, and rained, then rained a bit more. But around 6pm the rain finally stopped and the clouds were briefly lit up by the setting sun.

According to this evening’s local news headlines, Covid numbers in the west are going through the roof, with case numbers that haven’t been seen throughout the entire pandemic. Parts of Somerset have the highest rates in the country. Everyone I’ve spoken to over the last couple of days has either recently had Covid, or has family/friends who currently have Covid. I had started to plan a weekend away but, given the above, and a three hour train journey in each direction, I’ve decided it would probably be wise to postpone the trip, again...
