Low Tide

Today's the day ...................... to be high and dry

This is the opposite end of the scale to this blip, taken when the tides were very high last month.

Today, it was very much low tide on the River Dee, when the only boat in the harbour - FV Mytilus (B449), a Dutch-built scallop dredger - was high and dry on the quayside.  It wasn't going anywhere in a hurry.

Talking of which, I had my own stalemate today - the first time in 56 consecutive daily tries - that I failed to solve the Wordle word.  I had wondered what happened when your six attempts were up and you still hadn't got it?  Well, I'm sorry to say, I now know ........................!
