Wet day

Gardeners have a different attitude to wet weather from most people - for me, a full day of heavy rain means topped up waterbutts and pond, natural watering, happy plants and (at this time of year) happy frogspawn.

Well, until I have seedlings that are vulnerable to slugs anyway... but even then, you need wet soil for nematodes to work!

I took the same pictures of the flowers around the compost heap yesterday and today and it looks so different! The crocuses don't open unless the sun's out.
