Day 2

An early start to achieve my objectives ahead of the rain that was due at 2.30, so by 9.30 I was walking along the beach at Wells-next-to-the-sea. I'm not sure if I told you but Pamela's name is going onto the side of the new Shannon life boat that will be stationed here from the autumn, hence the reason for my visit. I'll be back when it's launched as well. I spent most of the day at Wells and just popped into Holkham for a quick photo (see extra) before getting back to the hotel.
Yes I stayed dry :-)
