Waking up No. 2

This one is Erythronium dens-canis “Snowflake”  More commonly known as a Dog’s Tooth Violet. I have a number of Erythoniums, most of them bigger than this variety and I expect they will appear as Blips in the next few weeks.

This coming Saturday is the date of the annual local Alpine Garden Society show in Kendal. Some amazing plants will be featured and I would not be surprised if one or two appear in Blip.
