Eggs

Next to the bottom of the fence I spied this nest. There are no free ranging hens about, so I'm thinking perhaps a pheasant? There are certainly enough of them about! 

The eggs at the back are a bit grubby, but a lovely clean one at the front. Slightly smaller than hens' eggs. Whatever they are, it was nice to see a nest of them. Lottie and I will give them a wide berth on future walks, in the hope that the mother goes back to them.
