Mist on the hills

Lovely early morning with mist hanging heavy on the South Downs making them look far more wild and mysterious than they are.  There wasn’t a frost but the grass sparkled with heavy dew. 

The way the meetings fell today meant I managed a slightly longer lunchtime walk than usual which was good in this sunshine.   As the sun went down night was cold but i cooked supper and we had a quiet evening
