The Glacier Express

I've long wanted to take the Glacier Express which runs from Zermatt to San Moritz through spectacular mountain scenery... and finally I got to do part of the trip at least (Zermatt to Chur). It was gorgeous, and had a lovely fun atmosphere as we wound our way into the mountains and up above the treeline through the Oberalp Pass at 2033 metres. I had so many photos it was hard to chose just one... but this is up by the Oberalp pass a tiny hamlet with its church, deep in snow.

Now I just need another trip to Switzerland to add on the Chur - San Mortiz... and a few months to save up for those Swiss prices!
