Female Pheasant - Phasianus colchicus

A pair of pheasants turned up in front of the hide on the local nature reserve - maybe they know it is safe on this side of the road.

A cock turned up first, then another cock (which was rapidly chased off) before the hen bird put in an appearance.

I could have blipped the cock, but everyone blips those, so instead, I thought I'd give the hen a shot in the limelight.
