Spring?

It seems that if I have a day off it is grey and wet, and if I’m at work it is sunny! But today I was off and it has been lovely.

I spent some time in the garden, split my rhubarb plant, tidied some growth from last year including these teasels. They grow very freely, and look quite tatty in winter but goldfinches love the seeds throughout the cold months.

A couple of days ago I threw out the artificial arrangement that has sat on this log burner (bought on a French Brocante) and was looking for something more environmentally friendly to go on it. It’s not perfect but it’s better than them going to the tip and they can stay there till I find something better
